Baloch Students Organization – AZAD
The spokesperson for Baloch Students Organisation Azad, in a statement released to media, said that the 6th Central Committee meeting of BSO-Azad was held, presided over by Chairman Abram Baloch. In the meeting, various agendas were discussed including the Secretary’s report, critical session, constitution-making, organizational matters, and coming plans. The meeting commenced as usual with a two-minute silence in commemoration of the martyrs of Balochistan. Detailed and comprehensive discussion was held among the Central Committee members on the selective agendas respectively in the said meeting.
While addressing the meeting, Central Chairman Abram Baloch said that the needs of time and situations are changing. He added that when a nation is in a state of war, each moment is of utmost importance to them. The responsibilities, which are on the shoulders of Baloch youth, particularly the members of BSO-Azad, are very serious. On one side, they are facing the oppression and wildness of the occupying enemy: on the other hand, they have the responsibility to expand and function the national liberation movement.
For any nation, youth are termed the backbone. For the last several years, Pakistan has been attacking the backbone of the Baloch nation to weekend and liquidate it. Due to this, the members of BSO-Azad have always been under the siege of state oppression. But the conscious and cognizant Baloch youth have made it clear to the state by strengthening and integrating the platform of BSO-Azad that Baloch youth will never accept a life of enslavement.
Chairman Abram Baloch further said that the occupiers are currently using different tactics to depoliticize the Baloch youth and make them afar from the Baloch nation and its slave status. For this very cause, local agents have been further stabilized and activated across Balochistan. While on the other hand, the enemy forces have intensified their enforced disappearances of youth and targeting them in fake encounters after observing the national consciousness and cognizance among Baloch youth. The formation of terrorist forces like CTD by the occupying forces is also an attempt to create intimidation and panic among the Baloch youth. For the fear of Baloch women’s participation in conscientious and revolutionary acts on political and intellectual grounds, women are now being targeted throughout Balochistan. While on the one hand, repression is continued and, on the other hand, tactical policies are being made to create suspicion about the national movement among the people in general, Baloch youth in particular, through various means, which need to be known and countered. On one hand, where the enemy is putting back the Baloch national struggle through various tactics, on the other, counter-revolutionary forces are, too, raising their heads day by day and becoming participants in spreading propaganda against the organizations and revolutionaries associated with the national struggle movement. It becomes the responsibility of the revolutionary cadres of BSO Azad to play their key role in organizing the freedom struggle more dynamically by exposing the soft tactics of the occupiers and counter-revolutionary elements among the people, especially the youth.
After comprehensive discussions on all the agendas, the central committee decided to hold the twenty-third central council session of BSO-AZAD in memory of Lumma-E-Watan and Shuhda-E-Aajoi (Martyrs of Freedom) and in the name of Baloch captives in the month of April on completion of the tenure. Chairman Abram Baloch urged the elected councilors for the council session and guided them to participate in the highest meeting of the organization, so they should participate in the central council session with full preparation to organize and mobilize the organizational activities.
