𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐲

Mehmood Baloch s/o Abdul Qadir resident of Mastung, Balochistan was born in 1992. He got his early education from his native area Mastung. After completing early education, he went to Shaal (Quetta) for further study. After completing intermediate, he passed the medical college test and got admission in Khyber Medical College Peshawar. He was MBBS student at the college, in his student years he became active in student politics.

He started his student politics on the platform of BSO Azad, and became an active member of Peshawar Zone. He was very young but committed to the Baloch cause. He played an important role in mobilizing and uniting Baloch youth residing in Peshawar for their educational purposes. He had mobilized hundreds of youths to join Baloch struggle for the independence of Baloch homeland. Many of the Baloch students were influenced by his political approach and revolutionary behaviour and followed his leading path towards revolution of Baloch society.

In time of kill and dump policy by colonial Pakistani state, every student was being targeted. Many among his friends and organizational comrades were martyred by the barbaric Pakostani security forces. He was threatened by the security agencies to quit politics and BSO Azad but he stood with the organization and continued his struggle until his martyrdom. He was an example of bravery and commitment. He joined organization in an early age and stood with his national ideology until the last breath. He had a keen interest in reading revolutionary literature of the oppressed nations. He believed in political struggle and was targeted for his exercise of peaceful political expression.

He was abducted on 08th August, 2011 from Shaal, Balochistan by Occupying Pakistan’s Intelligence Agency personnels. After detaining and torturing for 10 days, his bullet riddled body was dumped on 18, August 2011 in Ganjadori area of Mastung, Balochistan. His body was marked with extreme signs of torture. He was among the committed members of the organization and continued his struggle in the difficult times. He had opportunities to become a servant doctor of Pakistani state, but he chose the sacred and national liberation path and dedicated his life for an independent Balochostan.

He inspired many youths to join the caravan of BSO Azad. His sacrifices for the independence of the Baloch homeland at his youngest age will be remembered in golden words in the chapters of Baloch history. His political struggle and sacrifice will always lead the young students in Baloch national liberation struggle.
