The spokesperson of BSO-Azad in a statement said that Balochistan has become the hub of Pakistani oppression as people are not even being allowed to protest against state brutalities. The use of violence on peaceful protestors at Quetta today is the continuation of state policies to curb each political struggle by utilization of violence.

The spokesperson said that recently Pakistani forces have killed Baloch missing persons in fake encounters at Ziarat, Balochistan. Pakistani forces have abducted thousands of political activists from Balochistan in the last decade and many were found dead in mutilated conditions later, yet thousands are missing today. The recent killing of missing persons in a fake encounter is the continuation of that oppression.
Pakistan has crossed all limits of gross human rights violations in Balochistan and International human rights organizations are silent on such grave issues. Collective genocide of Baloch people is continue on their native land, however, silence of HR organizations is quite concerning. We appeal to the United Nations Organisation (UNO) and other human rights organizations to take strong measures and make Pakistan accountable for the human rights violations in Balochistan.
