Targeting missing persons in fake encounters is the continuation of Baloch genocide – BSO Azad

The central spokesperson of Baloch Students Organization Azad, while expressing concern over the targeting of forcibly disappeared persons in Ziarat in a fake encounter, said that for the past several years, fabricated stories regarding forcibly disappeared persons from Balochistan by the state of Pakistan have been circulating. State is trying to mislead the world by creating fake scenarios regarding Baloch Missing persons, on the other hand, State has continued the Baloch genocide by targeting missing persons in fake encounters to vent their anger. In recent days, the security forces killed the previously missing persons in a fake encounter in Ziarat, which is very worrying. It should be noted that this is not the first time that missing persons are being targeted by Pakistani forces, but many times before that, state forces have targeted people who have already gone missing in fake encounters. Dozens of people were martyred in such fake encounters in Mastung and other areas last year. Out of the 9 people martyred in Ziarat, one of the missing persons has been identified as Shams Satakzai, whose family has said that he went missing five years ago.

The spokesman said that it is the extreme of colonial oppression that innocent people are picked up on the basis of being Baloch without any crime, then they are subjected to various tortures for years, while the families of the missing persons are also subjected to mental torture that is subjected to torture. The silence of the human rights champions on the incident of targeting the missing persons in Ziarat in a fake encounter shows how serious they are about the issue of Baloch missing persons.

At the end of the statement, the spokesman called on human rights organizations and other countries to raise their voice on the Baloch genocide by the Pakistani army in Balochistan and said that the world’s political powers and international institutions to held Pakistan accountable for the genocide of the Baloch nation.
