14 August has shown the Colonial Pakistan’s lost existence in Balochistan

As 14 August remembered in history, the day of creation of Pakistan, we call it Colonial state of Pakistan. After the withdrawal of British Colonial empire, subcontinent was divided and artificial boundaries were created in the region, causing hundreds of thousands of people’s death. However the day of formal British withdrawal was the 15th August, 1947, hence the date 14 August of Pakistan’s creation is itself a lie in the history. On the basis of colonial interests, a state was formed and it began with the lie, if any “country’s” beginning is based on lies, what can we expect from its existence and structure? A question which resonates in every conscience individuals mind.
After the creation of unnatural state of Pakistan, eight months later, it occupied Balochistan through the barrel of gun and fake agreements. Since its creation, Baloch nation never accepted this occupation, rather resisted and refused to surrender to the outsiders as Baloch history witnesses the same resistance in past. Decades of military aggression and colonial rule over Balochistan, the Pakistan tried its best to exploit Baloch land, injecting its fake identity and psychological influence. It divided the Baloch population into other so-called “provinces” like Sindh and Punjab. It promised the equal rights and autonomy to Balochistan, but was never serious to implement, rather engaged the Baloch political parties in its puppet parliamentary system through greed, individual interest, corruption, and blackmailing. Every Baloch parliamentarian experiencing the system, came up with disappointment at last. Many nationalist leaders experienced it to make it prove that this puppet Pakistani Parliament has no any seriousness and authority on Balochistan. And Balochistan is a colony, occupied by Pakistani state.
Pakistan tried its best to deceive Baloch nation and convince them to exploit its land in exchange of so-called “development”. But experiencing every opportunity and being betrayed, Baloch realised and cleared its path to the liberation of Balochistan. In the beginning of 21st century, Balochistan’s political landscape changed, Surface political struggle with clear liberation goals emerged, armed front increased and Baloch nation became conscious and mobilised against the occupation. Since then, the Pakistan’s existence in Balochistan has become a nightmare for the them. Baloch didn’t only resist the occupying force, but resisted the every single identity of the coloniser and its existence began shattering. Baloch nation began decolonisation in every single front including political ideology, public psychology, culture and languages, literature and the education sector.
When Baloch realised its true path of liberation, they became organised and started resisting every colonial effects. Pakistan’s creation day became a Black Day for the nation. This day became a realisation to Pakistan, that its existence on Baloch land has been lost. On this day, cellular networks and internet are completely shut down, markets are closed, cities observe curfew, every area occupied by military is heavily militarised. People don’t come outside instead they remain inside their homes, educational institutions, banks and other governmental institutions are closed for more than a week, and the cities are fortified with security forces. This day is observed as black day, as well as it had shown Pakistan its position that colonial state has lost all of its influence over Balochistan. Because of this reality, it has been using force and violence on Balochistan to hold it while relying upon staged media events and propaganda.
These all were observed in this 14 August, 2026, while some footages had been circulated on social media by state’s sponsored social media touts, showing government officials are celebrating the day in a highly militarised zone. The state’s paid personals organised some events before the day, some however are organised before a week. The events organised secretly for state propaganda purpose, they are released on the day of 14 August to show the event was celebrated. Furthermore, people are forced to hold the flags, they are harassed and detained with their vehicles and then forcing them to join rally. People are forced to join rallies by threatening, while drug addicted persons are bribed to participate in the rallies. The participants in those forced celebrations face public humiliation in Balochistan, anyone participate in such events, are treated traitors of Baloch nation in Balochistan. Therefore the bribed participants mask their face to avoid public humiliation.
These are the behind stories of those fabricated lies people see on social media.
Although everyone is aware of these staged drama, their propaganda style and the motive behind these, the state still holds its position doing so. These facts reveal the true non-existence of Pakistani state in Balochistan. While doing some propaganda homework, the state tries to hide the truth and show the outside world their fake existence in Balochistan.
In reality you can’t see even a flag in public places except government buildings but that’s the real story is always fear of being suspended. Any government official participating in the event is also treated bad wisher of Baloch, and they try their best to justify their compulsion. However many government employees rejected to join the forced participation, and later got suspended while some have been terminated. The 14 August has become a compulsion to the government officials, they are forced to celebrate it otherwise will be suspended from their posts. The public never celebrate neither participate in any events while government officials are forced to participate. If an event becomes compulsion, you can judge the story.
